Technicians Assistant:
I recently experienced a frustrating issue where my Epson printer wouldn't find my WiFi network, even though my laptop and smartphone were connected without problems. Every time I opened the WiFi Setup Wizard, my wireless network was missing from the available networks.
At first, I restarted my Epson printer and WiFi router, but nothing changed. Then I checked my router settings and discovered that my printer supported only 2.4 GHz WiFi, while my router was using a 5 GHz network.
I enabled the 2.4 GHz wireless band, made sure the network name (SSID) was visible, and moved my printer closer to the router. After restarting the printer, I opened the WiFi Setup Wizard again. This time, my network appeared immediately.
I selected my WiFi network, entered the correct password, and waited for the connection confirmation. My Epson printer connected successfully, and I printed a test page without any issues.
If your Epson printer won't connect to WiFi or cannot detect your wireless network, I recommend checking your router's frequency, network visibility, and wireless security settings first.
Has anyone else experienced this issue with their Epson printer? What worked for you?
